Senior Project Planner

We have exciting opportunities in our Project Delivery Practice for a Senior Project Planner / Project Controls based in Manchester. You will work alongside Project Managers and Directors to control and manage design activities on complex infrastructure projects.

We seek a collaborative and sharp-minded individual to:

1. Develop and implement high-quality planning and scheduling standards.
2. Create detailed project plans in P6 linked with logic.
3. Integrate project control procedures into project delivery.
4. Provide expert advice, including schedule updates.
5. Produce monthly planning reports and resource projections.
6. Generate ad-hoc reports on schedule impacts.
7. Attend planning and progress meetings.
8. Define project programmes and schedules clearly.
9. Lead and develop a team of Planners.

Your qualifications and experience:

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience supporting project delivery within scope, budget, and quality targets.
• Knowledge across project lifecycle stages.
• Proficiency in commercial, financial, and earned value analysis.
• Ability to manage contractual risks and change control processes.
• Experience with contract management systems like NEC 4, FIDIC.
• Strong client interface skills and knowledge of health and safety legislation.
