Job Description
Senior Project Manager 
Business Unit: Harker
Purpose of the PositionThe main purpose of this role is to lead complex, high-impact projects from initiation to completion, while ensuring alignment with organisational goals, budget constraints, and quality standards. The successful candidate will manage risks, oversee project teams, and mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities & Duties- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, high-value projects to successful completion.
- Ensure project deliverables meet business goals and maintain quality standards.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and communications.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor project teams.
- Ensure adherence to standard project management methodologies and organisational policies.

- Suppliers
- Project Managers
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience managing complex, high-risk, or large-scale projects.
- Proven track record in delivering complex projects, involving multiple suppliers, cross-discipline teams, and significant financial budgets.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor project teams.
- Strong analytical and planning kills to drive business value.
- Excellent verbal/written skills to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
- Experience in proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Proven experience in budget management and benefits realisation.
- Personal integrity, resilience and the robustness needed to operate in a fast-changing contracting environment.
