We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to deliver a new Defence project, ensuring effective coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders. You'll manage complex workstreams, engage with stakeholders across Defence and industry, and provide clear project reporting and updates.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of a new project from induction through delivery
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with relevant Defence processes and standards
• Supporting project initiation and proposal activities
• Providing accurate reporting to senior leadership

Essential experience

• Knowledge of Defence and Defence project delivery
• Understanding of Trials and Experimentation processes
• Capability and Acquisition experience within DE&S or Army HQ
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working across multiple teams
• Ability to hit the ground running on complex projects

Essential qualifications

• Relevant experience more important than formal qualifications
• Experience in project management in Defence or related sectors
• Demonstrable ability to manage complex workstreams and reporting
• APMP PMQ or Prince 2 equivalent

Location and work pattern

This role is full-time per week based at Farnborough or Bristol. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected. Hybrid working patterns are available.
