Senior Project Manager

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its consulting team.

As a consultant, you will support our clients in the Defence for our brand Infogene (Group expertise in Digitalization, Industrial IT, and Cybersecurity).

Not only will you work on diversified and challenging topics, but we will also support your growth and development through a specific follow-up and the possibility to benefit from specific trainings related to your career objectives.

About the Role

• Lead and manage IT and communications projects from initiation to completion.
• Deliver high-quality project documentation, including pricing and work statements.
• Gather and analyse user and project requirements.
• Prepare and manage procurement documents and competitive bidding processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and contractors.
• Oversee project execution, including testing, delivery, and documentation.
• Support larger projects as a team member or take on roles such as Test or Implementation Manager.
• Be available for short-term travel to other locations if needed.
• Follow internal guidelines, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing IT or communications projects or leading project teams.
• Experience with complex systems engineering and project acquisition.
• Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 or PMP).
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Skilled in creating professional project documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project or ServiceNow.
• Comfortable working in international and mixed civilian/military environments.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
