Job Description

Senior Project manager / Project Manager/ SPC - Main Contractor

Job Duties:

• Lead project planning and strategy development with the project team and stakeholders.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion of the project.

• Establish and maintain communication with project stakeholders, including owners, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Identify and manage project risks and ensure that mitigation plans are developed and implemented.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, change orders, and progress reports.

• Resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.

• Provide leadership and mentoring to project team members, including engineers, architects, and contractors.

• Collaborate with other project managers and stakeholders to identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement opportunities.

• Conduct project close-out activities, including final inspections, commissioning, and project handover

Job Requirement:

• Degree qualified in Building, Engineering, Architecture, or other construction-related disciplines, preferably with relevant professional qualifications such as MCIOB, MHKICM, MHKIE, or equivalent.

• A minimum of 15 years' experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in managerial positions

• Proven experience in construction or project management with relevant exposure in residential projects in the public sector, preferably having completed at least two projects from the initial stage to final handover to flat owners.

• Familiarity with Buildings Ordinance, allied legislation, and related Codes of Practice & Guidelines in the construction industry.

• Familiarity with construction site safety, environmental, and relevant legislation.

• Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.

• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Windows.
