Senior Project Engineer- Food

Matrix Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer on behalf of our client in the CoKildare.

Permanent role / On-site

This is a key role focused on delivering engineering projects, improving production, and driving efficiency within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects (equipment upgrades, new installs, process improvements)
• Drive continuous improvement
• Support production growth and new product introduction
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and support a small engineering team
• Troubleshoot and improve equipment and processes

What You Need

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing)
• 5+ years' experience in project engineering within Food or high-volume manufacturing
• Strong project delivery and problem-solving skills
• Lean / Continuous Improvement & Automation experience
