In this role, you will lead and coordinate project activities from order intake through to successful commissioning. You will be responsible for preparing functional design specifications and defining detailed project scope documentation.You will ensure seamless technical coordination among internal and external stakeholders, maintain strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, and drive project delivery within defined timelines and budgets. How you'll make an impact: Control System product knowledge in SCADA, RTU, PLC, Ethernet Switches, GPS, and experience in HMI Engineering, programming, and Communication Interfacing. Knowledge in Industrial Communication protocols and networking standards such as IEC61850, IEC 60870, DNP3, and Modbus. Developing Control System solutions and managing the full development cycle (from concept design to delivery), with expertise in SCADA communication design, Bill of Materials, signal lists, and cable lists. Conduct and provide technical support during the pre-FAT and FAT stage, installation, and commissioning activities Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.) Commercial awareness and support project management in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.) Assist customers on technical issues, interact with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables. Assist with communication on specific assignments or meetings Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 6 years of experience as a project lead engineer for SAS/RTU systems. Strong communication, collaboration, time management, and planning skills. Knowledge of protection and control systems is a plus. Familiarity with RTU and substation automation system principles. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Your attributes: Able to work well using your own initiative, you're also a team player who'll collaborate and communicate well to achieve successful outcomes. You're flexible in your attitude to working hours as the role will require working all over the UK, sometimes at short notice. You have excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. You have a systematic approach, a positive mindset, and are keen to learn and develop.
