You will support the delivery of the Education, Regulation & Reform programmes of work in line with the 10 year plan and other key relevant policies, to support the current and future needs of commissioners, employers, employees and/or our communities. Through engagement and networking assist the Programme Manager to implement workforce developments or changes to make positive continuous improvements.
Main duties of the jobAs a Senior Programme Officer within the Workforce Supply. Employment Practice and Regulation team you will:Support delivery plans and programme reporting, working collaboratively to deliver agreed outcomes on time.Analyse intelligence, trends and research to inform NHS strategic decision-making.Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships, using collaboration and engagement to shape programme delivery and represent the employer perspective.Manage networks and resources that support the work programme, promoting good practice and helping address key challenges.Support programme evaluation, using feedback to adapt delivery to commissioner and employer needs.

Job responsibilities- Support with the delivery of agreed plans and assist in the completion of relevant reporting for programme delivery, identifying and utilising opportunities for collaboration and supporting the effective delivery of the programme within agreed timescales.
- Support the analysis of intelligence, trends and relevant research in the subject area to influence strategic decision making for the NHS.
- Identify, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships both internally and externally through cross team collaboration and engagement, listening to views and ideas to shape future programme development and delivery, and ensuring the employer position is clearly represented and understood.
- Manage networks, facilitating where required, develop and maintain new and existing resources and content to support the work programme including suggesting, promoting and celebrating examples of good practice and providing support to facilitate solutions in areas of key challenge.
- Support the evaluation of the programme including collating feedback and supporting the adaption of the programme of work to meet the needs of the commissioner and employers.
- Has an understanding of the key programme area and key issues facing healthcare providers.
- Ability to proactively drive work independently, work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
- Experience of producing written briefings, reports, webpage content.
- Experience of engagement, facilitation and delivering presentations.
- Experience of evaluating activity to demonstrate impact.
- Ability to maintain effective and productive professional working relationships, both within and outside the NHS.
- Knowledge and experience of matters relating to professional regulation, the supply and retention of the clinical (agenda for change) workforce through the modernisation of clinical education, and the widening participation of the workforce in support the 10 year health plan aims.
