Job Description
Our client is a recognized High-End Watch Manufacture known for the rigor of its industrial standards, the precision of its know-how, and the controlled complexity of its production flows. In an environment where every component, every deadline, and every capacity matter, logistics plays a decisive role in the overall performance. To strengthen its logistics team, our client is looking for a person in charge of optimizing production activities in the medium and long term. Reporting to the Logistics Manager of the site, you occupy a central position between demand, production, and capacities. Your mission consists of building, managing, and securing the production plan while ensuring the availability of components on time and maintaining a controlled balance between load, capacity, and levels. On a daily basis, you are a key player in the coordination between the production, quality, methods, and logistics teams. You bring a structured and analytical vision, essential for decision-making, and actively contribute to the reliability of the production plan and monitoring. You elaborate and manage the master production plan, in accordance with market demand and industrial capacities, contributing to the S&OP process, defining the planning horizons (3 to 18 months), and ensuring a clear communication of priorities to the relevant teams. You ensure the coherence of load/capacity and manage the necessary adjustments, whether it involves subcontracting or trade-offs. You are also responsible for the quality of data in the ERP/MES systems (batch sizes, lead times, stock policies, etc.). Through rigorous monitoring of key indicators (OTD, stock levels, service rates, adherence to plan, lead times), you produce analyses that allow you to anticipate discrepancies and support continuous improvement and performance decisions. You identify bottlenecks, propose corrective actions, and contribute to the overall performance of the site. You participate in Lean and Supply Chain projects: streamlining flows, implementing operational standards (Kanban, CONWIP-), and reducing work in progress and lead times. In close collaboration with the teams and methods, you help enhance the robustness, flexibility, and resilience of production processes while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Profile: You hold a degree in logistics, industrial engineering, or production engineering, and you have solid experience in production management, ideally acquired in a high-precision industrial environment, combining manual flows and process optimization. Your background has allowed you to lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects and develop a strong capacity for analytical thinking. You master ERP tools (SAP or equivalent) as well as analytical tools (Excel, Power BI-), and you know how to transform data into decision-making levers. Comfortable in multidisciplinary environments, you collaborate with production, methods, and logistics teams. Structured, rigorous, and solution-oriented, you carry out your missions with a constant demand for reliability, performance, and quality. jid256f18aaen jit0310aen jpiy26aen
