As aSenior Product Ownerwithin our Digital Developing Businesses team, you'll lead the delivery of innovative digital products that serve both our customers and employees across our Driving School, SMR, and AA Cars business areas. You'll play a key role in shaping user experiences and driving commercial value, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.

This is a dynamic role that requires strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on collaboration. You'll support the Head of Digital Product, manage priorities across multiple domains, and ensure our digital solutions are customer-centric, commercially aligned, and continuously evolving. The role is based in Cardiff, with occasional travel to London and Basingstoke.

What will I be doing?
  • Lead the development and delivery of digital strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise backlogs, define user stories, and ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Champion user-centred design, ensuring our digital experiences are intuitive, inclusive, and impactful.
  • Use data and insights to drive decision-making and continuously improve product performance.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency, shared goals, and continuous improvement.
  • Support and mentor a team of Product Owners and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive team culture.
What do I need?
  • Proven experience managing multiple digital products(web and app) within a cross-functional or matrix organisation, ideally across both B2C and B2B environments.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across complex organisational structures.
  • A solid foundation in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in Product Management, Scrum, and Business Analysis.
  • A user-centric mindset with a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviours, and digital experience design.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver measurable value.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Google Analytics (desirable), and ideally holding an Agile Product Owner certification.
