Senior Product Manager, Data Infrastructure

1. Manage governed platform access for engineers, analysts, and services
2. Streamline orchestration and scheduling across fragmented scheduling tools
3. Use AI-assisted tooling to accelerate job migrations
4. Drive data ingestion and replication through self-service platform capabilities
5. Oversee retirement of legacy systems and hand off clear ownership
6. Optimize compute cost efficiency without reducing developer experience
7. Advance compute strategy diversification across storage and compute engines
8. Build an AI-ready platform substrate with governed access and audit trails
9. Use AI agents in daily work and establish norms for agentic workflows
10. Protect team focus and steward outcomes rather than tasks
11. Build trust across engineering, domain teams, and leadership
12. Collaborate with Data Mesh Enablement, Managed Data Products, and the agentic workflows team on an overall technical strategy

Requirements

• Five or more years of product management experience on a data or infrastructure platform team
• Experience stewarding technical roadmaps directly
• Comfortable reading system architecture and pipeline dependencies well enough to make sequencing decisions with engineering
• Record of taking cross-team migrations and retirements through completion
• Transparent about areas of growth and open to learning
• Experience weighing compute cost against performance and developer experience (preferred)
• Working knowledge of how AI agents consume data and tools differently from people (preferred)
• Judgment on when a vendor's own agent layer already covers a need (preferred)
• Proactive approach to navigating and understanding new technical systems, key contacts, and open questions independently (preferred)
