The RISC Ops team is at the heart of our customer safety practices at Amazon. As a Senior Product Compliance Associate, you will collaborate with a diverse range of Amazon colleagues and external vendors. This role offers daily opportunities to deepen your understanding of compliance complexities.

Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year Fixed Term Contract.

Key responsibilities

• Classify products based on their potential hazardous risk for regulatory storage and transportation.
• Identify and remove products from our website that violate policies.
• Collaborate with legal and quality teams to uphold safety and compliance standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Work with mentors and managers to develop skills and unlock potential.
• Propose process improvement opportunities.
• Train and mentor other associates.
• Communicate with stakeholders from various countries and cultures.
• Analyze metrics, interpret trends, and suggest corrective actions.

Basic qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level, spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Italian (B1 level, written).

Preferred qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in data-driven business processes.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, and Excel is advantageous.
• Experience in outsourcing business processes, operations, or database management is a plus.
• Decision-making skills in unclear contexts.
• Extensive internet and search engine skills.
• Ability to quickly find necessary information about products.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze large data sets for patterns.
