This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape and lead strategic procurement activities across multiple large-scale developments.

As the business continues to invest in new infrastructure, you will take ownership of the end-to-end procurement process, working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and in line with commercial expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement strategy across major construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Engage and manage key suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating terms and driving value.
  • Partner with project managers, engineering, legal and finance teams to align procurement with project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Mitigate risk through effective contract management and supplier governance.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation.

About You:

  • Proven experience in construction procurement, ideally on capital projects or large-scale infrastructure.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Confident managing high-value contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC etc.).
  • Able to influence at a senior level and build lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to lead and challenge the status quo

Why Join?
