Senior Process Engineer

Job Overview

Process Engineer - Cork Biopharma Organization, Janssen, Ireland.

The Process Engineer will implement and continuously improve equipment and processes using sound engineering practices, collaborate with the Engineering Manager or designee, and provide technical support to Operations and Project Teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support project delivery processes, C&Q, and FPX standards to drive deployment.
• Monitor the status of programs and projects, provide technical interpretation, and ensure alignment to policies, procedures, regulations, and customer specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and support execution of EHS&S policies and procedures.
• Lead engineering execution of projects and initiatives across the platform and sites.
• Generate capital equipment appropriations for new process implementations or facilities, controlling expenditures to meet timing and budget requirements.
• Ensure attainment of project and program schedules, budgets, procedures, and revenue targets by developing and monitoring budget and approval processes.
• Keep senior management informed on project and program status by creating, maintaining, and presenting written reports on status, tests, costs, issues, and performance against established targets.
• Provide technical leadership of multi functional teams on projects and process improvements, resolving inter functional issues.
• Ensure documentation of project and program activities and work.
• Manage compliance with EHS&S policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Technical Operations to align on technical standards and project execution for technical transfer projects and NPI.
• Research business and technical issues to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending seminars, trade shows, reviewing publications, and analyzing new trends.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or a related field.

Desirable:

• Scientific or technical qualification in chemical, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, or utilities engineering.
• Experience within a cGMP regulated pharmaceutical or process environment.
• Experience in failure analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Delta V, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Experience with SAP.
• Supervisory experience.

Pay Range

€52,400.00 - €82,915.00
