Senior Process Engineer - Clean Water

From preparing utilities for summers with exceptionally low rainfall in the North, to shaping the UK's long-term water supply resilience through water transfer, storage, and recycling projects in the South - our clean water process team is involved in exciting projects that truly benefit the communities we serve.

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our clean water team in the Midlands. This role can be based in Birmingham, Derby, or Redditch.

Whether recently chartered or an expert in the field, we'd like to hear from people as excited as we are about solving water supply and resilience challenges.

The opportunities we offer span both AMP cycle and Strategic Resource Options schemes. As part of an integrated national team, you'll work on projects across the UK, primarily focusing on clients in the North of England, Scotland, and Ireland.

Projects may include designing new treatment plants, developing long-term strategic resource schemes, optimizing existing assets, or deploying source-to-tap solutions for emerging threats like PFAS. Daily activities involve onsite testing, new system design, and utility business plan support - there's something for everyone.

What we're looking for:

• Passion for solving water catchment, resource scarcity, treatment, and emerging pollutant challenges.
• Experience in a clean water process specialty (e.g., design, science, or operation).
• Interest in or experience with onsite testing techniques (e.g., jar testing) to improve asset performance.
• Enjoy working collaboratively within a team and want to grow within a supportive UK and global team.
• Passionate about applying innovation and industry best practices to deliver optimal results for the water sector.
