What you'll achieveAs a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing AI systems, debugging complex software and hardware interactions, and ensuring performance benchmarks are met. The ideal candidate will also mentor junior engineers, manage rack-level components, and build automated test and validation frameworks to accelerate innovation.
You will:- Design and lead the effort on automation, CI/CD processes and tools to make our services simpler and more robust
- Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes
- Take part in the full software development life cycle including development, test, continuous delivery and support
- Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and delivery

Essential Requirements- 13+ years of software development experience. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Agility to adapt to technologies and processes quickly
- Strong development/programming experience in Python/Ansible/ Kubernetes. Experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX). Familiarity with performance profiling tools and debugging methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with rack-level hardware components (GPUs, accelerators, networking).
- Expertise in automation frameworks (pytest, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field. Experience with vRealize Orchestrator, vRealize Automation, Enterprise Storage, Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience with distributed training systems and large-scale AI clusters.
- Knowledge of low-level system programming and hardware/software co-design. Familiarity with benchmark suites (MLPerf, SPEC). Contributions to open-source AI projects.
