Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will not only have deep expertise in Power BI but also excel at understanding and translating customer business requirements into scalable, effective technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to design, develop, and deploy insightful dashboards and reports that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders and customers to gather, analyze, and translate complex requirements into clear technical specifications.
Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to meet business needs.
Optimize data integration, transformation, and visualization processes using Power Query, DAX, and other Power BI tools.
Lead the end-to-end BI lifecycle including data sourcing, ETL, modeling, and visualization.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all Power BI solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BI developers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of BI solutions with other enterprise systems.
Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure dashboards and reports run efficiently.
Stay current with BI trends, best practices, and Power BI updates to continuously improve our BI capabilities.
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Strong expertise in Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
Proven ability to gather and translate customer requirements into detailed technical documentation and actionable solutions.
Experience working with SQL databases and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.
Experience with other BI tools and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
