HOURS: 38 PER WEEK OVERTIME AVAILABLE IN THE BUSIER PERIODS

Worley is currently recruiting for a Senior Plating Supervisor to join the Maintenance Team.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our onshore team at Tronox.

Key Aims and Objectives

To ensure the core values of Worley Field Services and our clients are always met and adhered to. You will be made aware of those values via mandatory training prior to mobilization. Also:

  • Assist in ensuring all project/company SHEQ goals are achieved and exceeded where possible
  • Establish effective liaison with client/sub-contractor/vendor representatives.
  • Deliver a high standard of trade service to the project, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach is always implemented.
Primary Duties
  • Prime responsibilities will include working safely in accordance with site and company rules at all times. Carry out all work in accordance with vocational training and associated Risk Assessment and Method Statements. Report all near misses, dangerous occurrences, safety observations and inappropriate behavior of others to line management. Also:
  • Actively participate in all company and client/project safety initiatives.
  • Continuously review/refer to work packs/drawings to ensure work scopes are being executed as planned. Escalate any anomalies to line manager/supervisor.
  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Fabrication/Welding (or equivalent)
  • Supervisory Experience
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • MEWP License
  • SMTD
  • IOSH
Ideal Experience
  • Demonstrate experience in similar role in Oil and Gas Projects
  • Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times
  • Knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices / procedures
  • Experienced in team working
  • Able to interface and interact with Management and Client representatives at all levels
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work systems
