Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud Banking at Scale

We are partnering a with a leader in the digiatl banking industry who specialise in providing innovative banking solutions for global fintechs.

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help design, build, and evolve the internal developer platform, enabling teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing banking services.

What you'll do:

• Architect and run highly available AWS-based infrastructure (VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, EKS, EC2, Route53).

• Automate processes, implement IaC (Terraform preferred), and improve developer experience.

• Partner with software engineers to deliver golden paths, self-service tools, and integration solutions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across complex cloud systems.

• Investigate new technologies, lead POCs, and own projects from concept to production.

• Participate in a fair on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks).

What you'll bring:

• Deep AWS expertise + strong Linux skills.

• Proficiency in Bash/Python/Go Scripting.

• Strong IaC knowledge (Terraform ideal).

• Solid understanding of DNS, RBAC, and cloud security best practices.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

Bonus points for:

• Financial services or PCI/ISO27001 exposure.

• AWS certifications.

• GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS Systems Manager.
