About the Role

Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team that consistently delivers a high level of service?

This newly created role is due to an increase in workload from continued development in the area. The local authority seeks an experienced planner who can start without extensive supervision. You will work mainly from home, with in-office presence twice a week, except for site visits and key meetings.

Responsibilities

1. Manage a diverse caseload of applications, including complex minor and small major applications.
2. Work both independently and as part of a team to meet all targets and deadlines.

Requirements

• Comfortable working remotely using Microsoft Teams/Zoom.
• Experience as a Planning Officer or Senior Planning Officer.
• Proven experience with complex minor and small major applications.

Offer Details

Hourly rate up to £35 depending on experience. This is a quick-moving opportunity to join a growing local authority.
