Senior Planner

Our client is a Local Authority based in Essex and they require a DM Planning Officer to join them for a contract role ASAP and process a varied caseload of house holder, minor and small major planning applications. They need an experienced officer who has recently worked with a local authority in a similar role.

To apply for this role you will need an excellent working knowledge of UK planning legislation. You will need good stakeholder engagement skills and an understanding of the context of planning policy on development projects. You must be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to manage a large caseload of applications.

Our client will pay £43/hr Umbrella and this role is inside IR35. It is initially a 3-6 months role and it is a hybrid role with 2 days a week on site. This role is offering 37hrs per week.

You will need access to your own vehicle in order to carry out site visits.
