Senior Physiotherapist - Oncology

Permanent full time position.

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is Ireland's largest private hospital, established in 1915. The hospital has 343 beds and employs over 1,000 staff, caring for more than 100,000 patients per annum. It offers an extensive range of medical and surgical specialties for adults and children, including Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, General Surgery and Radiotherapy Services.

The hospital is a teaching hospital of UCC and holds many quality accreditations, including JCI, INAB and ESMO.

We are inviting applications for the position of Senior Physiotherapist - Oncology.

Post: Full time, Permanent position.

Hours of work: To be confirmed at offer stage.

Essential Eligibility Criteria:

• Required qualifications for a Senior Physiotherapist.
• Member of CORU is essential.
• Post graduate qualification in Oncology is desirable.
• At least 3 years postgraduate experience, with 2 years relevant to oncology in an acute hospital.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with advancements in technology and quality practices.
• Competent, innovative, reliable, enthusiastic, and self motivated.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform routine work to the highest standard, as determined.
• Cover oncology wards, mainly seeing inpatients and day cases.
• Include orthopaedic and respiratory weekends.
