Are you an experienced People / HR Professional ready to shape people management and employee development within online education services?

Join us as our Senior People Partner (Online Services) and play a pivotal role in driving a high performing, values led culture across TCES's growing digital education and therapy provision.

This is a strategic, influential role where you will partner closely with leaders across the National Online School (NOS) and Great Minds Therapy & Training Services - turning organisational strategy into people focused solutions that elevate staff experience, strengthen leadership capability and support sustainable growth.

As our Senior People Partner, you'll be the trusted advisor, coach and critical friend to senior leaders. You'll influence thinking, drive improvement and proactively address emerging workforce needs. From strategic workforce planning to talent development, safeguarding practice and organisational change, your impact will shape how our online services grow and thrive.

National Online School (NOS), the first - and only - Department for Education accredited online special school, is a growing service provider across the UK, engaging with young learners virtually. These young people have lengthy gaps from formal education for a variety of reasons, with the majority displaying Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA).

Great Minds Therapy & Training Services, is a growing online therapeutic services organisation, delivering direct therapy to young vulnerable people, developing therapeutic services in schools and education provisions, and training on a range of therapeutic strategies and neurodiverse identities.

This role will work closely with the Head of People Operations at a very exciting time with both service user and employee numbers growing exponentially.

Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:

  • A champion of therapeutic support and advocate for young people, with similar values to ours: Expect the very best from each other; Develop a strong work ethic; Respect and appreciate all difference; Include everyone and exclude no one; Listen to and involve everyone; Never give up on each other!
  • Resilient and robust, role modelling outstanding professionalism.
  • Hold minimum of CIPD Level 5 / Assoc CIPD (or equivalent experience/accreditation) with proven generalist support with employee relations work, recruitment and talent management.
  • Confidence in coaching senior leaders and building trusting partnerships.
  • Broad ER experience including disciplinary, grievance resolution and early-resolution approaches.
  • Proficient digital skills, including a good understanding of IT systems and the ability to use them effectively as a member of an online school.
  • Creative and innovative, whilst maintaining principles of HR governance.
  • Organised with attention to detail.
  • High Emotional Intelligence and a proactive, evidence based approach, collaborating with team members in other disciplines, whilst also with the ability to work flexibly and independently.

National Online School and Great Minds

National Online School and Great Minds were born our of The Complete Education Solution (TCES), an independent social enterprise, providing specialist therapeutic education.

National Online School supports UK-based exceptional neurodiverse children and young people aged 7 to 19 who have special educational needs and disabilities typically associated with autism, social emotional and mental health needs and associated disorders. Most of them will have experienced multiple placement breakdowns and significant trauma, often resulting in emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), with significant periods out of education.

NOS and GM support highly complex and vulnerable pupils, with highly differentiated and personalised holistic therapeutic education programmes developed for each pupil focusing on development milestones. Our universal, targeted and intensive therapeutic provisions allow young people to be supported with bespoke therapeutic input as well as allow consistent continuation of support in the home environment.
