The organisation delivers high voltage engineering services from concept through to operations and maintenance, supporting projects across the UK, Europe, Asia, and North America.
Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead a portfolio of transmission infrastructure projects. This is a key leadership role with full P&L accountability, responsible for the operational delivery and growth of high-value assets including OFTOs, substations, export cables, and offshore platforms.Ideally based in the North West of England (with flexibility for the right candidate), you will lead a high-performing team, drive service excellence, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
You will also act as the senior point of contact for key clients, supporting contract negotiations and fostering long-term partnerships.What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in transmission infrastructure operations and asset management

Strong background in offshore wind and OFTO operations

Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-site operations with full P&L responsibility

Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline; IEng/CEng preferred

Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and continuous improvement

Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills

Experience in regulated utility environments is advantageous.
