PERMANENT - UP TO £105K PER ANNUM

CONTRACT - Up to £75-£85 per hour Inside IR35

SURREY - HYBRID (3 DAYS ON-SITE)

Our client, a global leader in consumer electronics and advanced technologies, is seeking exceptional and highly motivated Senior Machine Learning Research Engineers to join a growing AI Research team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting edge innovation and help shape the next generation of intelligent mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, and evaluate innovative AI algorithms, with a primary focus on speech and audio processing.
• Lead the development of robust, scalable ML software for deployment on Samsung's flagship mobile devices.
• Own major components of complex research projects from concept to production readiness.
• Implement high quality, well documented code, following best practices in software engineering.

Required Skills & Experience

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.
• Proven experience in speech/audio processing (e.g., ASR, speech enhancement, audio analysis, TTS, NLP).
• Experience training models, not only using pre trained ones.
• Ability to modify model architectures, retrain, and adapt research papers into production ready systems.
• Strong grounding in speech/audio ML, deep learning, and ideally generative AI for audio.
