Senior Membership Manager

We are looking for a strategic and driven Senior Membership Manager to support the delivery of a compelling membership proposition across multiple Hearst brands, aiming to drive membership engagement, retention, and growth. The ideal candidate will manage membership engagement initiatives and enhance member satisfaction. The role involves managing partnerships to deliver events, offers, and competitions to reward our most loyal customers and bring our content to life. This position requires a proven ability to build strong member relationships, analyze data to inform strategy, and lead a membership team effectively.
The role:
- Design and execute membership growth strategies to drive acquisition and retention.
- Manage key brand partnerships to deliver value to members and create opportunities across Hearst.
- Deliver engaging offers, giveaways, and rewards to members.
- Collaborate with editorial and events teams to create engaging live experiences for members.
- Support sponsored membership activations with commercial teams.
- Develop new membership programs for Hearst titles.
- Manage and mentor the membership team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement comprehensive member engagement and marketing plans to enhance value.
- Monitor membership data, trends, and feedback to improve satisfaction.
- Oversee the member experience journey, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Work with various teams to promote the benefits of membership.
- Prepare reports on membership performance metrics for stakeholders.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.
About you:
- Experience in line management.
- Knowledge of the media and events industries.
- Experience in partnership management.
- Experience with face-to-face interactions.
- Proven experience in membership/loyalty programs.
- Ability to multi-task and work accurately under pressure.
- Teamwork skills within office and event environments.
- Flexibility in work approach and time management.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet, and email systems.
