Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing client in Essex. This would suit a candidate who has at least 5 years' experience in a similar Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineering role working on structural and stress analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be leading the development and testing of the integrity of company products through various analysis methodology including structural analysis, reliability and system safety analysis.
• Create technical documentation on findings after undertaking classical analysis methods and FEA on products.
• Be the technical lead on customer focussed projects for stress and reliability issues with products.

Key Attributes

• Proficient in FEA, stress calculations and structural analysis - any ABAQUS, Ansys, DYNA, Pamcrash, Nastran etc. would be ideal.
• Experience using MathCAD is beneficial but not essential.
• At least 5 years' experience in a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineering role.
