Senior Mechanical Design Engineer required to join one of Ireland's leading M&E Design Consultancies with offices across Europe. This role offers opportunities to work on high-profile projects across sectors such as data centres, energy, aviation, education, healthcare, commercial, residential, etc for the public and private sector.

Responsibilities

• As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, overseeing design and delivery of mechanical systems.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including specifications, calculations, schedules, and construction-stage reports.
• Communicate with clients through emails, meetings, and project documentation to ensure project alignment and coordination.
• Lead mechanical design across major projects.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership with full CIBSE, IET, or equivalent membership (desirable).
• 6 Years+ Experience in mechanical building services design across various sectors.
• IT Skills - BIM, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Broad industry experience and strong knowledge of building services systems.
• Interest and experience in sustainable design and renewable energy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts.
• Experience in a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
