Excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global market leader in a fast-paced role where you can see your designs come to life on the manufacturing floor.

The Role

• SolidWorks design across a range of underwater products
• R&D projects - working through the full process from concept to manufacture
• Developing new design concepts
• Overseeing mechanical department, including machining and junior mechanical staff

In this role, you will work on the mechanical design and development of pressure housing products, from concept briefs through to shop floor manufacturing. You will receive on-the-job training in the product range.

The Person

• Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer
• Experience designing pressure housing products and experience with optical assemblies
• Previously used SolidWorks
• Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
• No relocators (unless a tie to the area)
