Senior Event Marketing Manager

Award winning events business seeks a highly talented Senior Event Marketing Manager to join a rapidly growing events team. The successful candidate will help plan, organise and execute innovative marketing campaigns across a portfolio of award winning conferences.

Location: London

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver cross channel digital marketing campaigns in partnership with the Head of Marketing, aligned to event or project objectives.
  • Assist with the design, production and distribution of all promotional materials for the portfolio.
  • Write and proof copy for a range of marketing platforms and materials, including websites, social media, emails and brochures.
  • Maintain and update conference websites.
  • Manage and lead a team of marketing executives.
  • Leverage digital channels and technologies to enhance the online presence of the business.
  • Manage and segment data, identify gaps, develop new data sources and implement a data build plan.
  • Conduct continuous analysis and evaluation of marketing campaigns to improve performance.

Key Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • 5+ years in B2B conferences.
  • Team leadership or management experience.
  • Solid understanding of the events and digital media landscape.
  • Interest in telecommunications is a plus.
  • Proven ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independently.
  • Strong experience in insight development and audience segmentation.
  • Literate and numerate with exemplary verbal and written English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Experience using a CRM system such as Pardot or Salesforce.
  • Experience using a website CMS.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practice across email, social media, paid media, landing pages & websites.
  • In depth knowledge of marketing performance metrics.
  • Excellent ability to strategically interpret data trends and gaps, providing analysis & recommendations.
