Senior Manufacturing Supervisor - Front End Day Shift

Position Overview

The Ireland Operations team is actively seeking a Senior Supervisor in Manufacturing to support the stand up of production in our Ireland factory. As the Senior Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate a production team operating on one of our shifts to support our overall Business Units that operate 24/7. This role is on a 12 hour day shift (7:00am - 7:00pm) every Monday to Wednesday and alternate Thursdays, following a repeating 4 on/3 off - 3 on/4 off schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a highly motivated, high performance production team that operates to Dexcom's desired behaviours.
• Address people's performance issues and resolve conflicts when they arise.
• Create a culture within production that prioritises safety and quality.
• Focus on the development of individuals on the team for mutual benefit.
• Deliver a balanced scorecard of deliverables agreed with leadership and influence cross functional partners to meet those objectives.
• Ensure cross training and business continuity to minimise interruption to production.
• Operate the Dexcom Production System and act as a liaison between work area, shifts, and functions.
• Guarantee production team compliance with company and industry policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
• Understand time studies for your area to enable resource management and maximise performance.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the financial aspects of the area of responsibility and make budgetary recommendations.
• Leverage deep technical knowledge to resolve production challenges.
• Support new product introductions into commercial manufacturing as required.
• Stay updated on global programs that impact team execution.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• 6-8 years of manufacturing industry experience
• Previous formal management/team lead experience
• Six Sigma Green Belt qualification (essential); Black Belt qualification (advantageous).
