This is an exciting opportunity for a highly technical and motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in a fast paced, highly automated, and regulated manufacturing environment. In this role, you will provide senior technical leadership across manufacturing operations, driving improvements in process capability, equipment performance, quality, and output. You will work on high impact projects, deliver innovative engineering solutions, and help build future manufacturing capability while ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do- Serve as a senior technical leader in the deployment of manufacturing and automation solutions that improve process capability, equipment performance, quality, and output.
- Lead the design, installation, qualification, optimisation, and ongoing improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and controls.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support using structured problem solving and data driven analysis to resolve complex process and equipment issues and deliver sustainable improvements.
- Partner closely with operations, quality, maintenance, validation, and other engineering disciplines to develop and implement robust technical solutions across manufacturing systems.
- Identify, prioritise, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance yield, reduce cost, increase capacity, and strengthen overall manufacturing performance.
- Manage technical projects from concept through implementation, providing clear plans, strong execution, and timely communication on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Influence and collaborate across cross functional teams to support day to day manufacturing needs while driving longer term strategic engineering priorities.
- Support the development of a high performance team culture grounded in strong collaboration, accountability, Credo values, and behavioural standards.
- Ensure timely and effective completion of Quality System deliverables including CAPAs, non conformances, audit actions, change controls, and associated technical documentation.
- Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements are fully integrated into the design, purchase, modification, and operation of new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic engineering goals, technology roadmaps, and site capability building plans.
- Support plant and engineering strategic initiatives by bringing technical expertise, urgency, and execution focus to critical business priorities.
- Champion a culture of environmental, health, and safety excellence by ensuring all activities are carried out responsibly and in full compliance with site and company expectations.
- A bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Process, Automation, or a related Engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally medical device or another highly controlled industry, with strong knowledge of validation, compliance, and quality systems.
- Proven experience in a senior or highly technical manufacturing engineering role, ideally within a high volume automated production environment.
- The ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver results in a fast paced manufacturing setting.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Excellent attention to detail, sound technical judgement, and strong documentation discipline.
- Strong analytical and experimental problem solving capability, with the ability to apply data, engineering principles, and structured methodologies to improve productivity, quality, and yield.
- Strong technical leadership with the ability to mentor engineers, technicians, and cross functional teams and act as an escalation point for complex manufacturing issues.
- Ability to make sound technical decisions, assess risk effectively, and prioritise work in line with business, quality, and operational needs.
- Strong data driven and analytical capability, including the use of structured problem solving, statistical techniques, and manufacturing performance data to support decision making and continuous improvement.
- Ability to influence across functions, communicate with clarity, and build strong working relationships to deliver technical and strategic outcomes.
- A proactive, resilient, and hands on approach, with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and commitment to delivering results in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Base pay range: €63,300.00 - €101,315.00.
