Senior Manager of Procurement, a key part of the Procurement Leadership Team, will navigate the full procurement lifecycle within the designated business domain. As a hands on leader, you will champion a culture of leading by example and drive meaningful change.

To excel in this role, you will need to build strong collaborative relationships across all areas of the business, understand different internal customer needs, and communicate clearly and concisely to tailored audiences.

Working with a team of talented procurement professionals, your day to day activities will include leading and managing your area of the team and defining structure and governance to achieve business objectives. You will also coach and mentor the team to deliver short, medium, and long term goals aligned with AML's strategic direction, build strong supplier relationships, develop supplier strategies, and lead cross functional teams to ensure the company's goals are met.

You will help develop a strong, strategic procurement team and continuously seek process improvement opportunities in conjunction with the wider Senior Manager team. You will liaise closely with Finance to align procurement targets and results with corporate reporting.

As a Senior Manager, you will relish the opportunity to professionally develop and maintain supplier agreements that contribute to the long term profitability of Aston Martin. This role is instrumental in the company's success and offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual.

The Key Requirements:
  • Previous procurement experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within automotive.
  • Understanding of the strategic role of the procurement function and ability to work at this level.
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and have effective time management and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership experience.
