Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Network Supply Planner to lead end to end planning and cross functional collaboration in a global biopharmaceutical environment.
Responsibilities- Lead the monthly Finished Goods, Drug Product, and API network planning process.
- Manage and communicate deviations against agreed metrics including inventory months of cover and plan versus budget.
- Review global analytics for the assigned portfolio: product trends, demand evolution, inventory projections, supply performance and risks.
- Develop what if supply scenarios and provide recommendations in response to demand or supply changes.
- Understand site capacities, capabilities and supply risks; coordinate issue and bottleneck resolution.
- Collaborate with BMS sites and the External Manufacturing group to align manufacturing plans and CMO forecasts with contracts.
- Lead cross functional sub teams to align plans, drive solutions and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Provide input to the Global Supply Review process, driving escalation of major supply risks.
- Own the product structure process to ensure accurate demand propagation through the end to end network.
- Maintain supply planning master data governance and systems management.
- Support new product introductions to align supply network plans with timelines.
- Leverage BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI to monitor KPIs, perform root cause analysis and provide data driven decision support.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement in supply planning tools and processes, supporting systems enhancements in SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response.
- Contribute to digitisation and automation of planning workflows to improve speed and accuracy.
- Actively upskill on emerging digital technologies, AI and machine learning in planning use cases.
- Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field.
- Advanced degree, diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CIPM or CSCP) strongly preferred.
- 5-7 years of supply chain experience in a global or multi plant pharmaceutical or consumer products company.
- Experience with ERP and Advanced Planning Systems, preferably SAP ECC and Kinaxis Rapid Response.
- Experience in site capacity planning or global product supply planning; knowledge of Biotech/Pharmaceutical S&OP processes.
- Understanding of cGMP, FDA, EMA, TGA and other regulatory requirements.
- Experience working internationally in a fast paced, matrix structured organization.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, rapid decision making skills.
- Ability to negotiate and influence without authority in complex, high impact situations.
- Business acumen with the ability to persuade others using fact based judgments.
- Strong oral and written presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency working across cultures in a rapidly changing environment.
- Familiarity with AI and ML system features, including performance management and optimisation, desirable.
