Senior Manager Integration and Engineering

My client is seeking an experienced Engineering Technical Lead to oversee and guide the Engineering team, which is responsible for the development and integration of low-code system solutions.
You will be leading the team but are expected to have knowledge and hands on experience of Low coding.
This is a hybrid role and can be done from the United Kingdom. A contractor's assignment is considered inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Inspire and engage your team throughout the employee life cycle. Ensure all HR processes are effectively executed, including hiring new talent, setting clear objectives, providing coaching and recognition, and addressing performance issues promptly and professionally.
People & Process Optimisation
Drive team excellence by identifying opportunities for leadership growth and improving operational processes to enhance overall team efficiency and output.
Product Delivery
Partner with cross-functional IT teams, engineers, and product managers to ensure the timely delivery of robust and innovative software solutions. Focus on stability, resilience, and continuous improvement to elevate engineering capabilities.
Code Quality & Culture
Lead by example in conducting thorough code reviews, cultivating a psychologically safe environment where quality and constructive feedback are valued and Embedded into the culture.
Technical Ownership
Take end-to-end responsibility for the design, performance, and optimisation of Digital Customer, Colleague, and Property applications. Represent the team effectively at technical governance forums such as TDA and CAB.
Monitoring & Issue Resolution
Proactively escalate issues and share resolution plans with IT leadership. Ensure customer systems are accessed securely and all fixes are tracked through appropriate work items, adhering strictly to established procedures.
Removing Obstacles
Act as the team's advocate in technical forums, using these platforms to identify and eliminate blockers to maintain momentum and support success.
Partner Collaboration
Foster strong, collaborative relationships with Digital Partners, ensuring seamless integration and alignment as one cohesive team.

Modern Tech Stack Proficiency: Experience managing and maintaining digital platforms using contemporary technologies such as AWS, TypeScript, .NET, Next.js, Node.js, and GraphQL.
