Overview

The Senior Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of data driven, customer centric marketing campaigns that deliver measurable commercial advantage for hotels and ownership groups across UK and Ireland. This role is pivotal in translating Hilton's Marketing and eCommerce strategy into high impact regional plans that drive performance, brand equity and market share.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Ownership: Define and lead the marketing strategy for UK and Ireland, customer segments and source markets, ensuring alignment with broader commercial goals and regional business priorities.
  • Performance Leadership: Drive Marketing and eCommerce initiatives across UK and Ireland to deliver revenue targets and grow market share, leveraging insights to optimise Digital Direct channel mix and campaign effectiveness.
  • Market Influence: Cultivate strong in market relationships to enhance the relevance and impact of marketing activities, acting as a trusted advisor to hotel teams and ownership groups.
  • Insight Driven Reporting: Oversee performance measurement and reporting, translating data into actionable insights and communicating results to stakeholders at hotel and corporate levels.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Lead effective partnerships with hotel level destination contacts and teams across Marketing and Loyalty, ensuring integration and alignment of activity.
  • Digital Excellence: Own the UK and Ireland market strategy and ensure high quality execution that drives transient demand and brand differentiation.
Position Summary
  • Lead the development and execution of data driven marketing strategies tailored to UK and Ireland portfolio, aligned with customer behaviour, market dynamics and business priorities to drive demand across optimal channels, with the right messaging and timing.
  • Oversee regular performance reviews and in depth analysis of KPIs across UK and Ireland, identifying trends and translating insights into clear actions.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities, spearheading targeted activations to unlock new source markets and channels relevant to UK and Ireland demand patterns.
  • Act quickly to address performance gaps by deploying agile, market specific initiatives that support commercial objectives.
  • Own the performance of direct channels for transient leisure business across UK and Ireland, ensuring continuous growth through innovative marketing and demand generation tactics.
  • Partner with hotels to elevate marketing effectiveness, both online and offline, with a focus on Digital Direct revenue growth, brand differentiation and domestic market presence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Regional Enablement
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with regional Area General Managers, Commercial leaders, General Managers and Marketing teams across UK and Ireland, ensuring alignment on priorities and insight led decision making.
  • Engage with franchise stakeholders and management groups to communicate marketing strategies, support portfolio needs and drive adoption of key initiatives.
  • Support cross functional projects and priority hotel initiatives across UK and Ireland, ensuring marketing plans are aligned with broader commercial goals.
  • Act as a marketing ambassador across UK and Ireland, championing initiatives and demonstrating how marketing drives value for hotels, owners and regional teams.
  • Motivate and mobilise hotel marketing teams through targeted communication and engagement.
  • Lead the development of campaign strategies by synthesising macroeconomic trends, audience insights, customer behaviour and portfolio performance to support market specific objectives across the portfolio
  • Leverage Hilton's in market presence to build strategic partnerships with DMOs, brands and airlines to deliver locally relevant marketing solutions that expand reach and drive incremental demand.
  • Curate compelling insight led content that inspires travel planning and showcases the unique selling points of Hilton hotels across the region, enhancing conversion across the customer journey.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Data Analytics: Proven ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into strategic marketing actions that drive commercial outcomes.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: strong understanding of digital channels (Display, Email, Social, Meta, PPC, Affiliates, Local Search, SEO) and how to deploy them effectively across the marketing funnel.
  • Data Literacy: Strong capability to analyse commercial data, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate strategic recommendations clearly to influence decision-making.
  • Omni-Channel Planning: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated marketing plans across multiple regions, channels and timelines.
  • Partnership Development: Skilled in negotiating and activating high-value partnerships that enhance brand visibility and drive incremental demand.
  • Executive Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present performance insights and strategic plans to senior stakeholders.
  • People Leadership: Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent to build high-performing teams.
  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu of
  • Extensive experience as a people manager with direct reports, including responsibility for performance management, coaching, and team development.
