Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager to translate regional marketing strategies into clear, scalable, market ready activations across EMEA customer and channel environments. The role focuses on strategy translation, content enablement, channel activation, customer prioritisation and market readiness, working closely with Consumer Engagement and Professional Engagement leads to ensure integrated, actionable deployment across markets.
Key Responsibilities- Translate regional marketing priorities into clear customer and channel activation frameworks for local markets.
- Define how campaigns, content and experiences should be activated across key customer and channel environments.
- Build practical playbooks, toolkits and guidance that help markets understand what to prioritise, how to activate and how to measure impact.
- Lead the evolution of key activation experiences, including New Fit, to enhance market readiness and scalable execution.
- Support the development of content activation models that connect regional strategy with local execution needs.
- Ensure activation plans are aligned across physical and digital touchpoints without duplicating consumer or professional engagement ownership.
- Define marketing led frameworks for customer and channel prioritisation across EMEA.
- Help markets identify where marketing effort, content and activation should be focused to maximise impact.
- Support segmentation and prioritisation models that clarify which customer groups, channels and activation opportunities matter most.
- Partner with Commercial Excellence and Sales to align marketing priorities with commercial execution realities.
- Maintain clear boundaries with Commercial Excellence by focusing on marketing activation, customer/channel guidance and market enablement rather than sales execution or sales force effectiveness.
- Equip markets with clear frameworks, tools and playbooks to support consistent local activation.
- Lead the regional marketing capability agenda, championing the EMEA Vision Marketing Capability Framework and embedding it across the marketing community.
- Partner with Learning & Development and functional leads to support targeted skill development and practical learning interventions.
- Drive adoption of frameworks through engagement, governance, coaching and best practice sharing.
- Strengthen the EMEA Marketing Community by supporting capability building, alignment and shared ways of working.
- Support the Director, Strategy & IMC as regional lead for the BP planning process.
- Coordinate key marketing inputs, timelines, templates and follow up across regional marketing and market teams.
- Help consolidate regional marketing priorities into a clear and coherent planning narrative.
- Ensure BP materials are clear, non duplicative, strategically aligned and useful for market planning.
- Partner with cross functional teams including Digital, GBI, Communications, Professional Education and Commercial Excellence to support joined up planning.
- Lead regional marketing team communications to build clarity, engagement and alignment across EMEA.
- Champion the internal marketing narrative across team calls, community meetings, Teams channels, newsletters and leadership updates.
- Ensure markets are kept informed on key priorities, decisions, timelines, capability initiatives and success stories.
- Support engagement around regional marketing events, capability sessions and community touchpoints.
- Create simple, consistent communications that help teams stay connected, focused and aligned.
- Partner closely with Consumer Engagement, Professional Engagement, Commercial Excellence, Digital and Analytics teams.
- Clarify ownership and reduce duplication across the end to end marketing model.
- Ensure consumer and professional engagement strategies are translated into effective customer and channel activation plans.
- Act as a connector across regional strategy, market execution and functional partners.
- Drive coordinated execution while maintaining clear functional accountabilities.
- Support stronger activation across B2B and B2C digital channels, including ongoing ownership of our Order Centre and Chime platforms for content and engagement capabilities.
- Optimise content placement, customer journeys and conversion pathways from a marketing activation perspective.
- Ensure digital activation is integrated into broader campaign and channel plans.
- Support the scaling of digital engagement and self service behaviours in partnership with Digital, Consumer Engagement, Professional Engagement, Deliver and Commercial Excellence.
- Lead relevant agency and partner relationships to deliver consistent, high quality activation support for markets.
- Support effective coordination of regional IMC budgets, tracking and prioritisation where relevant.
- Drive accountability, performance and continuous improvement across the partner ecosystem.
- Identify best practices and scalable approaches that can be adopted across markets.
- Stronger translation of regional marketing strategy into market ready activation.
- Clearer customer and channel prioritisation across EMEA markets.
- Improved adoption of regional frameworks, playbooks and tools.

- 8-12+ years of experience in regional marketing, channel marketing, customer marketing, trade marketing, activation or market enablement roles.
- Proven experience operating across multiple markets in a regional or global matrix organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into clear activation frameworks, tools and market guidance.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, channel prioritisation, content activation and omnichannel marketing.
- Experience developing playbooks, templates, toolkits or frameworks that enable local execution.
- Strong ability to partner with Consumer Engagement, Professional Engagement, Commercial Excellence, Deliver, Digital and Analytics teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and build compelling internal narratives.
- Experience supporting business planning, capability building or marketing excellence programmes would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to use insight, feedback and performance data to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Proven ability to influence and align stakeholders across markets and functions.

BenefitsIn addition to base pay, we offer an annual bonus with set target (percentage of pay) dependent on pay grade and location, where the actual amount is based on the employee's and company's performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
