Our client is a leading global advisory firm based in Amsterdam, reshaping how financial institutions navigate risk-with a human lens. As a Senior Consultant - Credit Risk & Quantitative Advisory, you'll join a purpose-driven team advising banks, insurers, and asset managers across Europe. This is a space where technical expertise meets collaboration, and where inclusion is more than a buzzword-it's how they grow.

Why This Role Matters

Credit risk is evolving-and so are the models that define it. In this leadership role, you'll guide major transformation projects at the intersection of regulation, data, and impact. From stress testing and IFRS 9 to next-gen approaches in AI and ESG, you'll shape systems that reflect the world we actually live in.

Your Day-to-Day: Strategy, Innovation & Mentorship

  • Lead large-scale client engagements in credit risk modeling and advisory.
  • Translate complexity into clarity for clients across sectors.
  • Coach and elevate team members across backgrounds and disciplines.
  • Collaborate across data, compliance, and innovation functions.
  • Bring emerging tools-like AI and ESG-to traditional modeling spaces.

What You Bring (and What You'll Grow Into)

  • 8+ years in credit risk or financial modeling, ideally in a consulting context.
  • A Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (finance, math, engineering, econometrics).
  • Experience with credit models (PD, LGD, EAD) and regulatory frameworks (IRB, IFRS 9).
  • Proficiency in tools like Python, R, or similar.
  • Interest or experience in AI/ML and integrating ESG into risk strategies.
  • An inclusive leadership style that centers mentorship and equity.

Designed to Support You-Inside and Outside of Work

  • 34 days of paid time off (full-time), plus sabbatical options
  • Fully paid birth leave and flexibility to work across Europe (up to 20 days/year)
  • Remote-ready tools and home office setup
  • Competitive salary, bonus potential, and financial perks
  • Leadership development and learning paths (including MBA sponsorship)
  • Climate-conscious mobility options and a strong pension plan
