Your Role

As a Senior Linux Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing and operating Linux systems within a hybrid cloud environment. You'll also manage VMware, SAN, storage, and data backup systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Linux, VMware, SAN, and data protection systems and related applications
• Drive automation and cloud migration efforts using Infrastructure as Code and container technologies
• Ensure robust system and application maintenance across the team
• Provide expert consulting to internal and external stakeholders on IT infrastructure projects
• Deliver transparent, timely, and high-quality implementations of systems and applications
• Uphold IT security standards and ensure compliance with regulatory specifications

What You Bring

• In-depth knowledge of SAN systems (eg, Pure Storage or equivalent)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, with extensive experience in Linux, storage, and data backup
• Proven track record in agile environments and strong familiarity with SLAs/OLAs
• Expertise in Linux systems (SLES/Ubuntu) within hybrid cloud setups and cloud migration strategies
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Strong analytical mindset, customer orientation, and a collaborative spirit
