Senior Legal Counsel

Overview

My client is a global manufacturing business with a footprint across more than 25 countries and they are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to take ownership of the group's global employment work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the group's employment work across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Integrate and harmonise the two groups' employment policies following a recent merger.
• Handle a mix of contentious and non contentious employment matters with external support available for specific jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• At least 8 10 years PQE (priority is the ability to take ownership rather than the exact number).
• In house experience preferred with exposure to European jurisdictions; US and Canadian coverage an added plus.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience beneficial but not mandatory.
• Residential location in the Midlands, North East or North West preferable if based in the UK (cannot be based in London).
