Job Description

The role involves supporting Samsara's European operations by negotiating and managing commercial contracts, developing workflows, and providing legal guidance across various business functions to enable growth and compliance in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and execute commercial contracts with European customers, vendors, and partners
  • Develop and improve commercial contracting workflows, including drafting form agreements and creating contracting tools
  • Support growth in Europe by providing legal guidance on privacy, employment, regulatory, corporate, product, and compliance matters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic legal and business initiatives in Europe
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and provide legal advice on various issues
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a law firm and or in-house position in the United Kingdom, including experience implementing and supporting complex scalable workflows.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that allow for clear communication both written and verbal.
  • Interest in being a true partner to our business stakeholders and immersing yourself in the ins and outs of our business and the industry in which we operate.
  • Ability to build, develop, and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
  • A high degree of professional integrity, ethics, and sound judgment.
  • Be a highly proactive self-starter who delivers quality work within tight timelines.
  • Be humble, adaptable, and flexible, with a growth mindset and desire to work on a variety of matters.
  • Law degree from a top university with strong academic credentials.
  • Be a qualified solicitor or barrister of good standing in England Wales.
  • Be based in the United Kingdom, preferably close to London.
