My client is a well known asset manager looking to hire a lawyer to support their private markets business. The role will cover a mix of debt and equity work into infrastructure investments.

It's a broad transactional role so exposure to all areas is unlikely.

The most interesting background will be direct out of a reputable private practice firm with a strong project finance or wider infrastructure background. They are needing someone with a wider skillset than purely LMA's etc.

Wider finance and even M&A or private equity experience will be useful but they really need good exposure to infrastructure projects.

You'll join a team of 6 lawyers who provide oversight of the transactions whilst being supported by their panel of external counsel firms.

It's a busy team and business area that originated over £3.5 billion in the last 12 months.

Work life balance is very good and is combined with a really nice collaborative culture.

They are ideally targeting someone in the 7-10 pqe range but there may be a bit of flexibility for the right person
