Senior Legal Counsel - Tech

Overview

We are supporting a high-growth tech company in its search for a Senior Legal Counsel to join its expanding legal function. This newly created role offers the chance to act as a key adviser to the business as it continues to scale internationally.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across various business functions to drive outcomes and manage risk.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including commercial contracts, SaaS, procurement, and strategic partnerships.
• Support product launches, go-to-market initiatives, and cross-border commercial strategies.
• Advise on data privacy, AI, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Play a pivotal role in building scalable legal processes and playbooks as the team continues to grow.

About you / Qualifications

• UK-qualified lawyer with 5-8 years' PQE gained in-house or at a leading law firm.
• Strong background in commercial contracts, SaaS/cloud licensing, and data/privacy issues.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach.
• Experience of supporting international operations and building legal infrastructure in scaling businesses is highly desirable.
