Senior legal Counsel - Investment Manager

Overview

Investment Manager, looking to appoint an experienced funds lawyer. Seeking a versatile, experienced funds lawyer (from 4 years' PQE) to join their business as the legal lead for the UK, to support the business' expansion further into Europe.

Responsibilities

• Be the legal lead for the UK and support the business' expansion into Europe.
• Utilise strong technical knowledge to set up funds and advise on distribution, with an appetite to broaden the practice into a generalist role, including corporate, DP, employment, IP, fund launches, compliance and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Trained and qualified at a top City law firm; over 4 years' PQE with excellent technical knowledge and experience of regulations applicable to funds, including SFDR and SDR.
• Experience of UCITS/private/PE funds/ETFs; in-house experience at an investment manager is helpful.
