Job Description
The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management are inviting applications for a Senior Lecturer in the field of Accounting and Auditing. The triple accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA) university offers a stimulating and well-equipped research and teaching environment with a large network ranging from start-ups and small businesses to large firms to engage within education. The new senior lectureship in the School of Management will be invited to become part of our dynamic Accounting Area. We are seeking a colleague with proven expertise in any of the key domains in Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Management. The ideal candidate has excellent teaching skills on all levels, including experience in teaching in large undergraduate and graduate courses. Experience in executive education is a plus. An internationally recognized track record of research is expected as well as a strong international academic network and ties with industry. The candidate ensures long-term teaching capacity in mandatory core and introductory courses and contributes to the innovative didactical development of large-scale teaching formats. According to our claim "From insight to impact", the future colleague should convey scientific knowledge to students and have a significant impact on theory and practice. The candidate will also attract external funding and contributes actively to the academic community and governance of the university. Senior Lecturers are tenured faculty.
