Senior Lecturer in Social Care, Applied Social Studies

Permanent Whole Time Post UCC wishes to appoint an academic to the role of Senior Lecturer in Social Care in the School of Applied Social Studies. Reporting to the Head of School, the post-holder will provide leadership in research and research-led teaching within the Social Care Programme and the wider School of Applied Social Studies.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage in internationally impactful research through securing competitive research funding, supervising doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, producing high-quality publications and contributing to wider dissemination activities. As a leadership appointment, the post-holder will play a key role in building research capacity across the School, including participation in European funding initiatives.
