Job Description

This temporary opportunity for a Senior Lawyer (Child Protection) in the public sector is ideal for a legal professional with expertise in delivering high-quality legal services. Based in London, this role focuses on assisting with conducting tribunal matters and advising on all SEND related matters.

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a range of public sector matters.
• Assist with conducting tribunal matters.

• Judicial reviews.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts.
• Represent the organisation in court and during legal proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Support internal departments with legal expertise and risk assessments.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate legal records.
• Collaborate with external legal professionals and counsel when necessary.
• Contribute to developing and implementing legal policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Lawyer (Child Protection) should have:

• A professional legal qualification and membership with a recognised legal body.
• Experience in handling public sector legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
