Senior Landscape Architect - West Yorkshire

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join a multidisciplinary studio based in Leeds. They focus on creating thoughtful, sustainable outdoor spaces, with projects ranging from public parks to residential landscapes. With offices in Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh, their work blends nature with modern environments to create spaces that are functional, beautiful, and community centered. They emphasise sustainability and collaboration, ensuring their designs positively impact both people and the environment.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging, sustainable spaces within urban environments and regeneration projects. This role involves leading diverse landscape projects from concept to delivery, fostering innovation, and contributing to the company's vision of shaping dynamic, functional outdoor environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Create and develop detailed landscape designs for urban regeneration, public realm, and private developments
- Oversee projects from conceptual phases through to construction, ensuring quality control and budget adherence
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and planners, to deliver integrated and comprehensive landscape solutions
- Conduct site visits and analysis, ensuring designs consider site constraints, topography, and environmental factors
- Prepare master plans, planting schemes, and technical drawings that adhere to local regulations and standards
- Liaise with clients, communities, and stakeholders
- A degree in Landscape Architecture
- Excellent software skills (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS)
- Revit or BIM is advantageous
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creative design solutions
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept through to implementation
- Strong organisational and time management skills are essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate design ideas effectively, both visually and verbally
- A full UK driving licence
