This well-established company are a specialist within the Surface Treatment; they supply their services across a range of industries. They have multiple sites across the Southwest alongside a fantastic reputation for quality across their growing customer base. Due to an increase of work, they are seeking a Senior Lab Technician on a full-time/permanent basis.

In this role, you will support the day-to-day running of the laboratory, as well as hands-on work - carrying out chemical analysis, monitoring results, supporting compliance and environmental testing, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality. You will also provide guidance to Technicians and Apprentices and support continuous improvement across the laboratory.

THE ROLE:

• Leading and supporting daily laboratory operations
• Conducting chemical analysis and monitoring results
• Supporting quality, compliance and environmental testing
• Guiding Technicians and Apprentices and supporting

THE PERSON:

• Laboratory experience with a good understanding of chemical testing and analysis
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience desirable, but not essential
• Experience in a lab environment, ideally within manufacturing/production
• Laboratory, chemistry, scientific qualification preferred
