Job Description

Role Overview

Experienced Senior Java Engineer with hands on experience of the ICON IPF Payments framework to support the delivery of large-scale payment systems. This role involves hands-on development within modern, cloud-based architectures and close collaboration with major banking clients.

Required Skills & Experience

Extensive hands-on experience with Java 11, Spring Boot, and microservices-based architectures
Strong experience working in AWS cloud environments
Solid experience with Apache Kafka and asynchronous messaging
In-depth knowledge of ISO 20022 payments, including payment types and schemes
5-10 Years as a Java engineer
Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience implementing ICON IPF within banking environments
Proven experience working closely with major banking clients
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
